What is my profile and why is it important

You would have created a profile in order to apply for a specific job on the Compono platform, but you should consider your profile as your living profile or Work Passport that you will use to apply for all jobs on the Compono platform. If you choose, your profile can also be used to match with other jobs on the Compono platform that you didn’t even know existed. Employers can find you based on whether you are a good fit for the job they are hiring for.

Compono standardises the way hiring works, to remove bias from the hiring process and look instead at whether a candidate and an employer have mutual needs that match. Understanding how an organisation works and what they are looking for in an employee and understanding what a candidate wants and seeing if there is alignment.

With this in mind, it’s important for you to fill out your profile with as much detail as possible and when completing your Job Happiness preferences to really consider what you want out of a job. Because at the end of the day, you want a job that’s going to make you happy.
