What you need to know to complete your profile to apply for a job
Welcome to Shortlyster! You are here because the employer for the job you are applying for has chosen Shortlyster as their chosen technology partner to help them understand you better, in terms of your background and skills, but also what environment and roles you’d thrive in.
However, Shortlyster is as much for you as it is for the employer. We understand that applying for a job can be quite stressful so we are here to help you find the job that’s right for you.
Rather than completing the profile based on what you think the employer would want you to answer, consider what you want out of a job. Ultimately, you want to find a job that suits your needs and requirements as well as the employer. Shortlyster’s matching is only as good as the information you provide so the more information you can provide, the better the matching works.
To fill in your profile for the job;

To check if you have successfully applied, click the “Applications” link in the top navigation.
You may also choose to upload a CV or share any professional links with the employer by navigating to your profile and sharing that information.
If you forgot to add information or need to update your contact information, you can log back into Shortlyster at any time, navigate to your profile and update your information. Any updates will be instantly shared with the Employer if the job is still open to applications.
We recommend you fill in your profile with as much detail as possible.
Note: If you cancel out of the application, any information you have added will still be saved, but your application to the job will be lost. If you still wish to apply for the job, then click on the link with the job description the employer shared with you and click "Apply now" again.
