Compono Hire Update: September 2022

Below is a summary of important product updates related to:

• Organisation Settings
• Inviting a User
• Editing User Profiles
• Role Permissions
• New Vertical Navigation Bar

Organisation Settings

Organisation settings is a feature in the Compono suite of products that allows you to manage organisation attributes specific to your organisation.

These attributes are:

1. Division - represents how the organisation is structured internally
2. Job title - represents the roles available in the organisation and a place within the organisation chart
3. Job level - represents categories of authority for the organisation and sets the responsibilities and expectations for a job title
4. Location - represents location(s) where the organisation operates

Users with Owner or Admin roles will see and are able to manage these under My account > Organisation settings.  These will be required user profile fields to enable the Engage product features for organisations with an Engage subscription.

Inviting a user

When inviting a user, product access options are now available. The selectable options will be based on the Compono suite of products that your organisation has a subscription to.

Editing user profiles

The user profile will be updated to include new attributes such as the organisation settings.  You are able to assign these under the Employment information section when editing a user’s profile.  

This will then enable you to categorise, group and/or filter your users when completing specific tasks across the Compono suite of products.

Role Permissions

The Role Permissions page will include a tab for each product which shows the permissions available for each product role.

New Vertical Navigation bar 

We are moving the navigation bar from the top of the screen to the left, making it a vertical navigation bar. This bar is collapsible, providing you with more screen real estate so you can focus on what you do best. Our new vertical navigation bar is common to both Compono Hire and Compono Engage. As well as a fresh and consistent look, it gives us room to grow in the future.
