The Compono AI message generator helps you craft engaging and effective messages quickly and easily. By leveraging artificial intelligence, Compono Assist populates your message subject and body with relevant content based on your chosen writing style and provided context. You can then review, edit, and send with confidence.

Getting Started

To access the Compono Assist message generator, navigate to where you typically compose messages to candidates within the Compono platform:

1. Within admin/message templates
2. Within the message feature in the candidate profile in Compono Hire
3. Within the bulk message feature from the candidate list in Compono Hire

Then select the "Compose with Compono assist" option

Step-by-Step Guide: Generating Your Message

Using Compono Assist is a simple three-step process:

1. Select a Writing Style:

Compono Assist offers a range of writing styles to ensure your message aligns with your brand voice and the message's purpose. Before generating, choose the style that best suits your needs from the dropdown menu.

• Professional: Ideal for formal communications, initial outreach, or sensitive topics where a polished tone is essential.
• Appreciative: Perfect for expressing gratitude, such as thanking candidates for their time or acknowledging their efforts.
• Clear and concise: Gets straight to the point, excellent for quick updates, brief requests, or conveying essential information efficiently.
• Empathetic: Shows understanding and care, particularly useful for delivering difficult news like rejections or addressing candidate concerns.
• Encouraging: Designed to motivate and inspire, great for follow-ups, inviting applications, or guiding candidates through the process.
• Enthusiastic: Conveys excitement and genuine interest, effective for job offers, interview invitations for desirable roles, or promoting your company culture.
• Respectful: Maintains a polite and considerate tone throughout the message, suitable for all communications, especially when addressing sensitive matters.

2. Provide Context - What would you like the candidate to know:

This is where you give Compono Assist the information it needs to generate a relevant message. The more detail you provide, the better the AI will understand your intent and craft a suitable message.

What kind of context should you provide? Think about:

• The purpose of the message: Are you inviting them to an interview? Sending a rejection? Following up on an application? Making an offer?
• Example Context: "You have been unsuccessful for the Senior Software Engineer role. You were a strong candidate but we went with someone with more specific experience. I want to thank you for your time and encourage her to apply for future roles."

3. Click "Generate":

Once you've selected your writing style and provided sufficient context, simply click the "Generate" button.

• Compono Assist will then process your request and populate the "Subject" and "Message" fields with AI-generated content.
• Compono Assist will also automatically replace key information with placeholders. These placeholders will be replaced with content specific to each recipient when the message is sent.
• Click shorter and longer buttons if you want to adjust the length of the message.

Review, Edit, and Use

It's crucial to always review the generated content. While Compono Assist is powerful, it's purpose is to be an assistive tool.

• Read through the entire message: Ensure accuracy, clarity, and that it perfectly conveys your intended message.
• Make any necessary edits: You have full control to refine the language, add specific details, or adjust the tone. This is your opportunity to personalise the message even further.
• Proofread: Double-check for any grammatical errors or typos.

Once you are satisfied with the message, you can proceed to send it to the candidate or save as a template as you normally would within the Compono platform.
