Found the right talent and they've signed their employment contract?
Once you’ve interviewed your candidates and finalised your hire, you can mark your candidate(s) as hired in Compono Hire. There are two ways to mark a candidate as hired:
- From the Manage candidates page, click on the action button corresponding to the successful candidate and select Move to: "Hired".
- Go to the hired candidate’s application view, and click on the "Move" button, then select "Hired".
When you move a candidate to Hired, an alert will pop up with the message:
“You should only proceed if the candidate has signed their employment contract. You cannot undo this action. Do you want to proceed?”
- If you press Ok, then the candidate will be marked as hired. In the Manage candidates page, the candidate will have a green "Hired" label next to their name. On the candidate application view, the "Hire this candidate" button will be disabled, and the candidate will have a green "Hired" label next to their name together with the hire date.
- If you press Cancel, then the alert is closed and the candidate will remain in their prior hiring stage.
Additional actions performed by Compono Hire after a candidate is marked as hired
- Compono Hire will remove the hired candidate from matching with other open jobs, by disabling job matching in their profile.
- Compono Hire will send an email to the candidate to congratulate them on their new role and inform them that they have been removed from matching with other roles.
- The hired candidate will be marked as unavailable for any other job they have applied for through Compono Hire.
- Recruitment report metrics can be calculated, e.g. Time to Hire, etc.
Compono will not automatically close your job, nor will Compono automatically delete any live job board posts you may have made.
Note: If one of your candidates has been hired for another role, then they will be shown as unavailable. However, you will still be able to view their application and details by clicking on their name.
