How to get your Seek Hirer ID

In order to post job ads from Compono to SEEK, you first need to obtain your corporate Seek Hirer ID by completing an online request. 

The process can be completed fairly quickly, but you will need to be able to log into your corporate SEEK Employer account.

1. Click this link to go to the "Connect SEEK to your recruitment system" web page.
2. Select idibu as your provider
3. If you’re not signed in to your SEEK employer account, you will be prompted to do so.
4. The Account name, Account ID number and Contact name will be filled in automatically if you are signed in.
5. Select ASAP as your go live
6. Select the below SEEK products:
   • SEEK Optimised Apply
7. Q: Are you currently posting jobs via another Recruitment Software Provider (RSP)? 
   • Select No if you are not posting jobs via another RSP.
8. Q: Are you currently receiving applications from SEEK through another Recruitment Software Provider (RSP)? 
   • Select No if you are not receiving applications through another RSP.
9. Agree to the terms and conditions and submit.

Seek will then email you your employer Hirer ID required to set up your Seek subscription in Compono. 

• Your Hirer ID is not the same as your advertiser ID. 
• Your Hirer ID will look something like this: seekAnz:organization:seek:abcdxy5xs

The alphanumeric sequence after the final colon, abcdxy5xs in this example, is required to set up your connection with SEEK.
