Compono Talent Pool

Who is "Compono candidate"?

When you open your job, you may see candidates in your list with the name “Compono candidate” and stage = "Talent Pool" (see image below). These are candidates sourced from the Compono Talent Pool. The Compono Talent Pool is made up of people who have applied for other roles through Compono Hire, but were not the ideal candidate. However, these candidates are still looking for work and match quite highly with your role. You can view their Qualifications, Skills and Organisation Fit preferences, but you will not be able to view any of their personal details until they actually apply for your job. 

The exception is if the Compono candidate has previously applied for a role within your own organisation via Compono Hire. In this case, their personal details will be made available, and you will see a "Top talent pool candidate" icon next to their name (see image below) to indicate that they have been sourced from the Compono Talent Pool.

You may choose to invite a Compono Talent Pool candidate to apply for your job.

1. On the row of the Compono candidate, click on "Invite" from the Action button (3 vertical dots)
2. The candidate's stage will update from "Talent Pool" to "invited"
3. The candidate will receive an email inviting them to apply for your job (see image below).

If the Compono Talent Pool candidate applies for your job, their personal details will be made visible to you and their stage will update to "Applied". If they do nothing, they will remain as "Compono candidate" and in the stage "invited".

Removing Compono candidates from your candidate list

If after reviewing a Compono candidate, you decide that you are not interested, you can move them to "Unsuccessful". You can also move invited Compono candidates to "Unsuccessful" if you think they will not apply (e.g. you have waited several weeks). Once a Compono candidate is moved to "Unsuccessful", they will be removed from your candidate list. 

TIP: Compono will provide a maximum of 10 Talent Pool candidates at any one time. If you move a Compono candidate to "Unsuccessful", Compono Hire will replace them with a new Talent Pool candidate if one exists that matches highly to your role. 

Note: Talent Pool Candidates will only show if they rank in the top 10 of your candidates. If you have higher scoring direct candidates who populate your top 10, then Talent Pool Candidates will not be displayed.
