How to cancel fixed-time interviews in Compono Hire
To cancel an interview for a job, you must have the role of Owner, Admin or Recruitment Manager. Users with the Recruitment Manager role must also be a member of the team that the job belongs to. You will be able to cancel an interview until it starts. Once the interview starts, you won't be able to modify anything for that interview.
You first need to find the interview that you wish to cancel. You can access the interview details from within a candidate's application view under their Interviews feed, or you can access the interview from your Interviews page accessible under the Hire menu from the left side navigation bar.

- Click on the interview you wish to cancel (below video starts in the Hire->Interviews page)
- Click on the “Cancel interview” button.
- You will be navigated to the default cancellation message preview for the candidate. You will be able to modify the subject and content of the message if required. (If you don't want to proceed with cancelling the interview, you can select "keep interview").
- Click on the "Cancel interview" button.
You will be directed back to the interview details page, where an alert will display the interview has been cancelled successfully. Candidates will also receive a notification via email for the cancelled interview, similar to the one in the image below.
Once cancelled, all interview details will be removed from Compono Hire.
