Finished with a job and you don't want to edit it or match with candidates to it anymore?
You can close your job from either the main Jobs page, or from the Manage candidates page. In either case:
- Click on the action button (3 vertical dots) next to the job you wish to close
- Select "X Close job" from the dropdown menu
When you click Close, you will see a confirmation message:
“Do you want to close this job? Once this job is closed, it will no longer match with candidates.”
If you click Continue, your job will be closed. If you click Cancel, then the job will remain open.
Once you close a job, the following applies:
- The job will no longer match with Compono Talent Pool Candidates and the Talent Pool Candidates will be removed from your list
- The job will not accept any more new applicants for the role
- You can no longer edit the job details or requirements
- You cannot recalculate the candidate scores using the score weighting feature
- You cannot reopen the job
- You can still duplicate the job but only the job information will be carried over, not the candidates.
- You can still view your candidates for the job, but that is all.
NOTE: Only close a job if you are sure you are no longer accepting applicants for the job and you no longer need to access or change the information and the candidates in the job.
