What is multi-location?

Want to get more quality candidates for your next job posting? Our multi-location feature can expand your candidates by targeting multiple cities, states or even countries from around the globe, all from a single job posting.  

As the name suggests, this feature will allow you to select up to 10 locations for your job posting. You can select multiple cities, states or countries. The multiple locations are then factored into the matching and ranking of candidates providing you with more candidate opportunities from our talent pool. 

Please note:

• Salary is not factored into matching and ranking, if multiple countries are selected, this is to minimise misalignment on currency expectations. However we are looking at how we can include this in the future. 
• The multi-location feature is currently used to support broader matching within the Compono talent pool. It is not yet supported by job boards outside of Compono Hire.

How do I use multi-locations in my job posting?

1. From your Jobs Page, click on Create Job and enter required details
2. On the General job details section, navigate to the Job locations field at the bottom 
3. Enter your first location which can be a city, state or an entire country.
4. Click on +Add another location to add more locations. You can enter up to 10 locations, as shown below:

Changes to Range Specification

The range field is only applicable to cities, starting from the city centre, and expanding out in radius defined by the value selected in the drop down menu.

Changes to Salary Matching

If two countries are selected, then the salary filter will be switched off. This means candidates will no longer be matched on salary to avoid misalignment of salary expectations due to differences in currency. We are looking at how we can include this in the future.
