This page describes the process to edit the content of an ad that has been posted to a job board.
NOTE:
- If you make an edit to a job ad in Compono, this edit WILL NOT be reflected to job ads that have already been posted to a job board.
- This edit will only be reflected in the Compono job ad (via the candidate job link).
- Any edits you make to a job that has already been posted to a job board, must be made using your idibu job publishing account.
How to edit your job ad
To edit your job ad, you must first log into the idibu v2 dashboard using your username and password that you created when you set up your job publishing account.
- NOTE: You must login with your username, not your email address
- If you are unsure what your username is, contact customersuccess@compono.com
Once you have logged in:
- Click on Ad Manager from the left navigation menu
- Find the job that you want to edit from the list of live ads
- Click the down arrow on the actions menu
- Click on Repost
- Make any edits to the Select industry sector and location section if you need to
- NOTE: It's important that your location is accurate, as this may feed the job board specific location options you have to choose from.
- Select the Job Board to which the ad you wish to edit was posted
- Click Continue to Job Details
- Make any necessary edits to the text on the job Advert Details section.
- To reveal and edit the job board specific information, check the "Optimise this advert" box in the Board Specific Information section.
- Once you are finished with your edit, click Continue to Review Job.
- After reviewing the job ad, click on Post Adverts to submit your changes. Note that different job boards will take varying amounts of time to make your changes live. Changes are typically updated quickly for paid job ads, while free postings may take longer.
