Share your real-time availability with Compono Hire to ensure interviews are scheduled when you are available
Integrate your calendar with Compono Hire to share your availability as an interviewer with other users of your organisation, and allow candidates to self-schedule interviews based on your real-time availability.
NOTE: You can only integrate one calendar with your user profile at a time. If no calendar is connected in your account, you won’t be able to create an unscheduled interview in Compono Hire.
1. Click on “My Profile” on the left side navigation bar, and you will be navigated to the “Profile” page in the Account Settings of Compono Hire.
2. Click the “Calendar” tab. You will see that there is no calendar integrated in your account.
3. Click the “Connect my calendar” button
4. You will see a pop-up alerting you that Compono is using a 3rd party tool called Cronofy to securely access your calendar, with a list of available calendar accounts that can be connected. Select the calendar that you use (e.g. Google) and proceed through the steps to sign in. If you are unsure which calendar account to choose, please contact your organisation's IT team for assistance.
5. Once access is granted, you will be navigated to the calendar settings page with your connected calendar
6. Select your preferred time zone on the timezone dropdown menu. Selecting a timezone will automatically refresh your calendar viewer.
7. On the calendar viewer, you can select your availability or unavailability that will be reflected when someone creates an interview with you. By default, the work hours are set from 9:00AM to 5:00PM, Monday - Friday. Modify the blue regions based on when you are typically available during the working week. For example, if you finish at 2pm every Friday, you would mark Friday from 2pm as unavailable. Remember that any meetings that are scheduled in your real-time calendar will also be shown as unavailable when someone attempts to create an interview with you.
8. Click on the "Save Changes" button when you are done.
How to disconnect your calendar in Compono Hire
1. Click on “My Profile” on the left side navigation bar, and you will be navigated to the “Profile” page in the Account Settings of Compono Hire.
2. Click the “Calendar” tab. You will see that there is no calendar integrated in your account.
3. Click the “Disconnect” button
4. A confirmation window will appear asking "Are you sure you want to disconnect your calendar". Select “OK” to proceed with the disconnection. The page will refresh and will disconnect your calendar in Compono Hire.
You will see an empty state in the calendar settings, and you can reconnect your calendar again at any time.
