Applying for a Job
If you have come to the Compono candidate login page from a link on a job ad, a link on an email, or by invitation from an employer, follow the below steps to submit your application.
- Sign up for a Compono account or log in to your existing account
- Start your application in Compono
- Complete your job application in Compono
- Submit your job application

IMPORTANT: Your application will not be submitted until you click on the blue Submit button (located at the top and bottom of the application page) as detailed in step 4
STEP 1: Sign up for a Compono account or log in to your existing account

If you DO NOT HAVE an existing Compono account, you first need to create your account and verify your email address. Once verified, you will be asked to provide some personal information (see animated GIF below).
IMPORTANT: If you applied via SEEK and you are here to continue your application, you DO NOT need to create a new account. You just need to verify your email address.
- If you DO HAVE an existing Compono account, e.g. from a previous job application, you can simply choose to log in using your existing account.
STEP 2: Start your application in Compono
- After completing your personal information, you will be directed to your Active Applications page.
- Click on Apply now to start your job application in Compono. NOTE: If you applied via Seek, click on Update now
STEP 3: Complete your job application in Compono
You and your role requirements (MANDATORY):
- Check your personal details under "About You". This will be pre-populated with the details you have already provided. Click Edit if any information presented needs correction.
- Answer each of the "Prerequisites" questions honestly.
Your preferred work setting:
- This section consists of three assessments that are all quick and straightforward to complete.
- It is highly recommended to complete this section so we can ensure you are a good fit for the open role.
Your work background:
- This section defines your work history, skills and qualification. Start by uploading your CV.
- Much of this section can be pre-filled using the Compono Assist smart application pre-fill.
- It is highly recommended to complete this section.
Your supporting documentation:
- This section allows you to add professional links and documents to support your application.
- If the document is specific to this job only, e.g. a cover letter, upload it to 'documents specific to this job'.
STEP 4: Submit your job application
- Once you have finished your application, click the Submit button (located at the top and bottom of the application page).
- This will send your completed application to the employer.
- If you have missed any sections, Compono will warn you before you submit.
- You will receive a confirmation email that your application has been submitted and the employer will be in touch to advise on next steps.
