Duplicating a course

If you want to create a new course using the same settings as an existing course, you can copy the course.

Note: Duplicated courses keep the settings for all modules except Action modules. Additionally, SCORM packages from SCORM modules are also not copied across. Remember to re-upload SCORM packages and re-configure Action module settings if these module types exist in the copied course.

To duplicate a course, follow these steps:

1. Locate the course you want to duplicate on the Courses tab.
2. Hover over the course and click the Edit (pen) icon that appears to open the course in edit mode.
3. Click the Copy Course button, then click Copy course.
4. Edit the course as necessary. 

The settings and course structure for the course are used to create a new course with [Copy] suffixed to the title (this can be changed on the INFORMATION tab of the Edit Course page).
