In Clui, you have the option to provide different instructions to reset a password if one of your users forgets theirs.
If you change the instructions, users are not prompted to enter their email address so that they can receive an email with a link to update their password. They instead need to follow the steps you provide.
For example, your alternative instructions may be for learners to contact an administrator for assistance and include a contact telephone number.
Follow these steps:
- Click the arrow next to your account name in the top-right corner of Clui and select Learning space settings.
- Change to the SETTINGS tab, scroll down to the Password reset section and turn the Custom password reset toggle on.
- Enter instructions for a user to reset their account password.
- Click Save.
The information you enter in the text box replaces the default reset password process.
