By assigning an individual recruitment manager to your job ad, you can filter the hiring dashboard to all jobs assigned just to that manager. Together with the recruitment report, this enables HR leaders to manage work assigned to their recruitment managers, look for bottlenecks in an individuals process, and intervene when required.
It's important to note that assigning a recruitment manager does not affect access or role permissions. Read here for more information.
Assigning a recruitment manager
When creating or editing a job you can assign a recruitment manager from the general job details section. When assigning, the recruitment manager must be selected from the hiring team associated to the job.
Once assigned, you will also see the recruitment manager in the job list next to the hiring team name (within brackets). If no recruitment manager is assigned, no name will be displayed.
Recruitment manager assignment does not affect access permissions
Assigning a recruitment manager is for keeping track of hiring progress and hiring metrics related to an individual. Assigning a recruitment manager is not related to access permissions to jobs.
For example, if you remove the assigned recruitment manager from the job's associated hiring team, they will no longer have access to the job (if they are not an administrator).
Removing the recruitment manager from the team
If you do remove the assigned recruitment manager from the job's associated hiring team, the recruitment manager will remain assigned to the job. This is important for reporting purposes (especially in closed jobs where the team may have changed).
To change the recruitment manager, simply edit the job and select someone else, or leave it unassigned.
Note: The recruitment manager filter in the hiring dashboard only shows active team members. If the recruitment manager assigned to a job is no longer an active hiring team member, you can find those jobs by filtering by 'Any manager'.
