The scorecard is where each interviewer records their independent assessment of the candidate. Scores are aggregated after submission to give a complete picture of how the candidate performed across the whole panel.
Opening your scorecard
From the interview detail view, click "Complete interview guide" to begin your evaluation session.
At the top of the scorecard you can view the candidate's application , work through the pre-interview guidance checklist, and review the key competencies being assessed in this interview.
Scoring each question
For each question in the guide:
Score (1-5): Click a score level to select it. The scoring guide for that level is displayed as a reference so you know what each score means in context.
Notes: Use the free-text field to capture the candidate's response and your observations. These notes are visible to managers when they review your completed scorecard.
Not asked / scored: If a question was not asked during the interview or you are unable to score it, select "Not asked / scored" to mark it as skipped. It will not count toward the final score.
Candidate-specific questions
In addition to the standard guide questions, you can add questions specific to this candidate. These might be:
-
Follow-up questions based on their CV
you can write you own or add a question from the bank
Questions based on red flags identified by the system
Red flags - AI powered question suggestions
If the candidate has completed organisational fit assessments (Work Personality, Job Fit, and Culture), the system analyses gaps between their scores and the role benchmarks you specified in the job ad criteria. Based on these gaps, Compono Assist surfaces tailored interview questions to help you dig into those areas.
Instead of going in with generic questions, every interviewer has targeted questions based on what the assessment data is telling you about this specific candidate.
Each suggestion shows:
Priority level (High or Medium) based on the size of the gap between the candidate's score and the role benchmark
The suggested question
A visual gap indicator showing where the candidate sits relative to the benchmark
"Why this question?" which you can expand to see the full reasoning, including the exact scores and gap size
"+ Select" to select the question for inclusion in the guide
Once you are happy with the questions you have selected, click on "Add to guide" to add your selection to the interview guide for this candidate.
Recommendation
At the bottom of the scorecard, record your recommendation on the candidate.
Recommend: Optionally note any concerns or areas to explore in future interview stages
Do Not Recommend: Provide constructive feedback for the candidate
Saving and submitting
Scorecards can be saved as drafts and resumed later.
Once you submit, your scorecard becomes visible to Admins, Recruitment Managers, and Hiring Managers. You can still edit your scorecard after submission if you need to update anything.
After submitting, you will see a summary showing your guide score, candidate-specific question score, and overall score.
Viewing panel results
As panel members submit their scorecards, scores are added to a results table on the interview detail view. The overall score (an average across all panel members) is visible to Admins, Recruitment Managers, and Hiring Managers.
Note, users with the Reviewer role can only see their own scores.
