The Compono Assist AI parsing technology instantly scans your CV and uses the data to pre-populate key information straight into your job application form. Together with our guided workflow, this creates a fast and smooth process to complete the "Your work background" section of your Compono profile.

How it Works

Whenever you upload your CV/Resume, you will have the option to pre-fill your application using Compono Assist. This is the fastest and easiest option, as much of the information will simply require a manual check to ensure the information that has been extracted is correct. Any errors can be quickly amended. 

To use the pre-fill option and Compono Assist:

1. Click ‘Pre-fill from my CV’' to get started. Compono Assist will scan your CV and extract key information. Hang tight this might take a couple of minutes.

   

2. Compono Assist will then guide you through all of the information it extracted. Take a look at each record, edit or add anything you think is missing, then hit the ‘add’ button. Don’t like it? Thats OK, just click ‘Don’t add'.

   

3. Sometimes we highlight a skill or a qualification we haven’t seen before in orange. That's just to let you know to double check it.

   

4. For skills, you can click on the pill and see other options that might be a better match. If the skill is not right, either replace it using the skills search, or remove it from the list by clicking the 'x'.

   

5. You can add new skills at anytime by hitting the “Find Skills” link. Here you will find suggestions or you can start typing in the search box to find other skills.

   

6. Compono Assist also detects professional links for you to simply “add”.

   

7. Once the guided flow completes, all information you elected to keep will be added to your profile as part of your job application!
