Think about the compensation you expect to receive for your work

When filling out your personal details, you are asked to input your salary expectations. We know that discussing salary is difficult, but we also know that it’s important to establish the boundaries of this conversation early.

For you, it’s important to know that the job you are applying for aligns with your expectations. For the employer, it’s important for them to understand if they can meet your expectations. Think of it as an alignment of expectations and that there is no right or wrong answer, just what is right for you.  

NOTE: We don’t tell the hiring company of your preferences so don’t worry. Also, Compono does not filter you out based on this information. 

To set your salary expectations, select a minimum and maximum to set a range for what you would be satisfied with. 

Make sure you are realistic in your expectations. We recommend you take a look at other roles that employ people with a similar experience to yours and to use this to guide your choice. You can always come back and update this as you progress with your career.
