Why aren’t there any Talent Pool Candidates for my open job?

There are a number of reasons why you may not see any or many talent pool candidate for your open job, for example

• Selecting a small range for location matching for your job will filter out candidates who do not match that exact criteria.  
  • Try nominating a larger area for location matching to de-prioritise location, and capture Talent Pool Candidates who may match and score highly against other requirements of your job. Additionally, you can consider candidates willing to relocate for the job if that is a viable option for your role.
• If you have only added Organisation Fit Preferences to your job and opened it without adding any Skills or Qualifications, you will not see any Talent Pool candidates.
  • Compono Hire cannot match Talent Pool candidates based only on Organisation Fit. Add relevant skills and qualifications to your job.
• You have specified too many skills.
  • We recommend that you only add the important or critical skills required for the job. The more skills you add, the less effective the software will be at separating the good from the average candidates. So keep it to a minimum.

Note: Talent Pool Candidates will only show if they rank in the top 10 of your candidates. If you have higher scoring direct candidates who populate your top 10, then Talent Pool Candidates will not be displayed.
